With Party City’s huge supply of costumes, my partner and I came up with sets of looks based around one item. We didn’t have time to get rights. And we didn’t have money to do a professional shoot. So my partner and I became a one-stop shop — curating and tailoring costumes, styling wigs, sourcing & building props, and unleashing a shit-ton of glitter spray on our innocent models.

Okay, so let me explain. Hugh Hefner died. Client wanted a post celebrating Hugh Hefner and selling bunny costumes. They wanted it posted the week the #MeToo Movement started. Hugh Hefner wasn’t great to women. See the issue? So, my partner and I decided to do what we did best: make fun of the concept of playboy bunnies by sexualizing memes. The result is… cursed.
